fantastic video and really showed the slugs terminal performance and it is impressive!!! It didn’t even go though and that is just awesome!!!
edit: watched the video couple of more times and all I can say is WOW!!! Your shot indeed is a true vital shot, it wasn’t even quartered away and the slug didn’t hit the shoulder at all. This means besides some tiny ribs it’s all soft tissue! The expansion of the slug is nuts given sub 12fpe, very very impressive!!

@intenseaty22 Good shot. By the size of the entrance wound I thought it deformed more. Nice detailed video on these Makos. Interested to see how they do at longer distances. What do you think the max effective range is using them your sub 12fpe gun?

I shot a squirrel with a 5.5fpe HW30 at under 20 yards, maybe around 16, head shot, & it was very effective. This was a Revere in Sub 12 at 28 yards. Unfortunately I don’t have the time or range to do further shooting often. So, I would speculate that it could be effective at at least 50 yards, but that’s all I can offer, speculation. If/when I take it out to further distance I will report on it. Basically, I don’t think it’s a matter of power as much as accuracy.

No, the 10.03s They were actually sent in by another member. Thank you for your generous offer, I do have both 10.03 & the 13.43. If you see my previous video, they actually shot impressively well out of the HW95, just a pinhole at 27 yards, under 10fpe gun. The Revere didn’t like those.

You are correct, of course. The JSB .177 KOs are 10.03gr. I don't think I will ever have any use for them.

Just took this squirrel this morning. This was the first pass through with the Mako slugs. Don’t know exact distance, but guessing around 18-20 yards. Was a true Vitals shot as you can see in the picture. It did run off a few yards, maybe 8 or so, and expired within seconds.
