Trophy blue bottle fly at 25 yards

And on the move too. I was practicing shooting at 3/8 inch circles at 25 yards when this large blue bottle fly landed on the target and started quickly walking around.

There was no bait to attract him, and I knew that he wasn’t going to stay long before mounting a full blown attack on myself.

But as it gathered itself for the attack I was able to squeeze off a shot…the pellet sent him in multiple directions in a millisecond. Be sure and zoom in to see how much ground he covered with the aid of the pellet, some of him got clear down between #64 and #73 lol.

Wicked shot on the bug. And your target shooting is not too shabby at all. 

Absolutely love shooting bugs. Unfortunately we are starting Black Fly Season. Size of a pin head. No legs, they land with their teeth. Small but easy to hit, just shoot up you’ll hit 5. Crow
