Crow that’s a crazy variation. I’ve had a few scopes go bad and it’s a few inches POI change. Not 8 then 20. And the fact that it’s holding on the 97 is a good sign. Did you use the same BKL mounts when you transferred it? I personally love them but have come across a few sets that have had defects. On one set after torquing down on the dovetail and about 50 shots, the front ring popped right off the dovetail.
