TRICK SHOT, with vintage Daisy 917

Hi everybody! In this video, I'm attempting a TRICK SHOT originally designed and performed by my favorite trick shooter, Kirsten Joy Weiss. This trick is called the "Invisible Eraser", and the objective is to knock ONLY the eraser from a pencil, leaving the rest of the pencil intact. This is done from (I THINK) 10 yards with a rifle, standing, unsupported, with open sights. It's A LOT of fun, and an easy one to try! Give it a shot! I use a vintage, and freshly rebuilt, Daisy 917 pellet rifle for this trick. This video is shared from my Youtube channel ALL THINGS AIRGUN. If you enjoyed the video and want to see more like it, please subscribe! Thanks for watching, and I would LOVE to hear what you think about the video!

@DonnieReed, you only thought you were doing an homage to Kirsten Joy Weiss and her "Invisible Eraser" shot. What you've actually done is create a companion trick shot: the "Indestructible Eraser" shot. And, just like with the pellet-on-the-nail trick shot, this shot depends on using a pellet gun that provides just enough energy to complete the shot without destroying everything. I suppose if somebody chose to shoot an eraser with a .22 PCP pushing pellets at 1000 fps they'd get the eraser to "disappear"... or up the caliber to .25 or .30 for that matter. Life gave you lemons... make lemonade, man!

OMG!!! LOLOLOL

Invincible Eraser!!! LMAO!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Indeed, I believe there's a fine line in the energy requirements. I think I've got it figured out. I"m gonna try again soon. :)

And Danjeffries, that's AWESOME MAN!!! These things are GREAT! I just found the pellet mine likes the best. H&N Finale Match Heavy.

I"m not sure what you mean by "metal block" though. I'll have mine apart again in a few days, so I can definitely look if you describe it to me.

And thanks for the replies, guys! Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya. Life has been hectic lately. :)
