Trend of listing everything as a “PCP Rifle”

I’ve noticed this the last few months. People listing items on the Classifieds in the PCP Rifle category even though said items are not PCP Rifles—or often even airguns at all. Optics, bipods, grips—everything. Is this an honest mistake, or are people trying to generate more clicks? Either way it makes navigating the classifieds a pain.

If I did, was not intentional. I try to stay in the right category. Pulled many of my ads anyways. So hopefully, a tad less painful. Hope you find what you are after

A ton of people are doing it. I'm not calling out anyone in particular. Not even calling out anyone in general. Just trying figure out why it's happening.

I would think it is the item they are selling like Grips for a FX PCP . ?

Its the first option in the drop down. Laziness? Hell I could be guilty of it sometime but I do try and set the correct cat.

Is “PCP” a default category? I really can’t remember. It feels like it’s been ages since I posted an ad. I just checked and “PCP rifle“ is the first choice in the drop down menu. It looks like lazy posting to me.
