Got off work after a grueling day rewiring an old attic, and went over to the boss's house where we had planned to test out his new Mathews bow. I figured I would bring the 25 cal jumbo out too incase the squirrels were going to be around. I took one before we even started shooting the bow.
Just before sunset and after putting away the bow, the squirrels started to head back to their nests for the night. Got the other 2 within 3 minutes of each other. Had another back in the woods, but I was losing the light and didn't take the shot.
All were taken at roughly 35 yards, and with JTS dead center 25.4s doing 920ish fps. One of them had the sunset to his back, and man the pink mist was amazing to see when the pellet zipped through his skull.
2 of the 3 were some porkers, the middle one is probably a yearling, but still very healthy... well, til I shot it!
