Tree Rat Trifecta

Had the day off work and it was sunny and 65*. So I went squirrel hunting for the last time this year with the .25 Marauder. Got a trifecta on the first 3. One fox, one grey and one black. First time I got one of each on the same hunt. Limited out with two more grays on the way back to the truck. After the first fox, I decided I wasn’t going to shoot another one until I got the three different colors. I must have seen a couple dozen other fox squirrels before I shot that first grey. I also got three chippers along the creek bank brush piles. They are a little harder to hit in the head. I almost had a perfect outing. Then I blew a perfect 25 yard shot on a red squirrel. No excuse. I blew it. Broad side on a limb squaking at me. Now I start crow hunting.
