Looked out the door and this one was walking along the top of the fence. He stopped and then perched there for a moment. Just long enough to reach for the GAMO Raptor Whisper in .22. Loaded a Excite Hammer 14.66gr pellet, put the crosshairs on its forehead.....and sent it. See pics for result.

Just under 24 yards my friend. I had never hunted with the Excite Hammers before. They are tree rat worthy for sure.

I was honestly surprised it hit so well. It's a GAMO and I guess I wasn't expecting that kind of performance. But that's why I like to try things and not just go on what others say. She's a great sweet shooter and I wouldn't be too afraid to use it outdoors in the woods or nit so great weather. Unlike a higher end rifle if that makes sense.
