Travis of AirRifleTechnology is now in Jefferson State Air Rifles

I just put my order in for the Balance valve for my current Marauder 25 build. From reading posts and watching videos by Travis I discovered a new hobby within a old hobby. I would buy high end gun and then would shoot well from day one now with the Marauder I have to make it on my own and it’s great to have the backup of people like Travis.

It wasn't that long ago that you and Travis were at each others throats.
Travis claims he sold WAR. How can you sell something you never owned? All WAR is or ever was is a hopped up Benjamen.
Change a few parts, add another barrel,. Call it a Wicked Air Rifle.Sell it for 4 times the price.
No thanks.
If we were talking about watches , this would be considered a replica. The people you pander to should know.

Unless you've owned one I wouldn't knock it. My .30 WARP could out shoot my .30 RAW when I owned it. Nothing against the RAW as it was a great gun but very long and heavy. That's why I now replaced it with the WARP. Best gun I've ever owned.

I DID own one and agree 100% with the comments of ShootistX about WAR prior to the WARP as it does now have an adjustable regulator and is smaller (more of an FX Impact clone now) Sure mine was an accurate gun, AFTER I tuned it (might have been the CHINESE regulator that was on my 100% USA made gun), but my Taipan (paid 1/2 the price), my BSA Ultra (paid 1/2 the price) and my BSA Techstar (paid 1/4 the price) will all hang with it to 100yds (the farthest I've shot it). Plus all three of these guns are lighter and smaller then the Flex.

Old Pro (or his previous sign on's of WAR and Tim Tebow) is a salesman who is looking to make $$$$. Look at everyone one of his "innovations" and see if you don't find that they all were "invented" long before he put them into "production". Some even 10 years prior. The NBH, SSG, TSS, SS Balanced valve (used in paintball guns 10 years ago but dropped due to the issues with internal o-rings and lubrication), tank top adjustable paintball regulator (this one of his isn't even out yet). Here's one if you don't believe me - https://www.sakworldpaintball.com/mega-regulator-dual-stage-adjustable-100-950psi-4500-tank-regulator/

Also I'd think it not a good thing to bring him up on AGN - here's what he thinks about (and says on other forums) about this forum:

“Funny that he would imply that he used custom code then try to convince his members it was true. It just shows you what type of guy Mr Wendt is. I would have renamed this site FXnation just to piss him off. LOL. Hes obviously not all there and I can list a dozen people just from memory hes banned for not agreeing with him. Yes all forums have their own rules but when you start deleting members because they have a different point of view then yours well thats just about as dumb as it gets.”

His last sentence is actually funny as when I confronted him about the things he was doing I was "reprimanded" by the staff at GTA and told "Travis needs to make money and my opinion was not needed" I deleted my postings and was put on "Probation".
Then out of the blue I go to 2 different sites (one Travis "owned" and the other he sponsored) and mysteriously I was BANNED - for zero cause.

The other thing that Travis and Matt do is pander on every forum they join. They spend very little money which I consider " hush money" in their cases, then become a " supporting vendor" which buys them protection. They then go on to reply to nearly every new person thinking about buying an airgun, while suggesting something like a Gamo, Benjamin , gauntlet or anything under 400.00 so they can then turn right around and sell them upgraded parts pioneered by others, while playing nicey nicey. If anyone points out what they are really doing or questions the shady business practices, or their " innovative technologies" pioneered by others long before they ever had one original idea, both of them run and cry to admins while trying to have that member banned. Over on the other forum , it's like a competition to see who can get whose money first and if you say one word or question anything, Travis and Matt will do their best to have you banned. Although they are not the only ones doing it, These two are exactly what is wrong with the airgun community,
I would never buy a single thing from Jefferson State Air Riles. Personally I don't think they even have air rifles for sale. You call and have them build something at which time they probably rush out to Walmart and buy a Benjamin and start changing parts, or adding parts.

And don't dare mention an FX gun, or a Brocock or anything that needs no upgrades. It will cause an uproar and the next thing you know, the admins over there start slapping wrists, handing out warnings, removing posts, banning people, all in an effort to support shysters, salesmen, and your basic bottom of the barrel scum.
It is by far and away the absolute worst forum to frequent if you just bought something like a new FX gun and want to discuss its merits, post a few photos and meet others with common interests. This will be met with envy, hostility, and snarky remarks and if you open your mouth, it may as well be to say, " goodbye.
This medium is a far FAR better forum for real enthusiasts.

I cant believe that he said that. After all the whining and reporting he's done over there when someone didnt agree with him.

I ended up buying my Veteran from this Travis guy. Packed it very poorly. Came with chipped paint on trigger guard. Sent one magazine when he promised two. Gun came with a faulty Edmu. He eventually sent me the other magazine. He never made right the issues with the stock or the Edmu. Will never recommend anyone do business with him, but that’s just my experience. Stand up guy my @$$!!!

*Edit: He did tune the gun, it is very accurate and gets a lot of shots on a fill. Credit where it’s due.
