Traveling with my Wildcat

Hi friends. In December my family & I are road tripping it to my parent's house in Bailey, Colorado. Needless to say, it's going to be chilly. Bailey is over 8,000 feet elevation. We will be taking our Dodge Ram with a bed cover. My FX Wildcat .25 will be in it's Pelican case, in the back of the truck, along with my Great White 4500 psi tank, while traveling. They will not stay in the truck over night. I of course will not come back down from altitude with a full rifle. Are there any concerns reference the cold weather? Please forgive me for sounding like a weather wimp, but I'm a SoCal boy...I can't help it,😆

What you should be concerned about is condensation buildup from the rifle going from extreme cold to extreme warm environments. Try to limit this as much as possible. It's not the end of the world but, it could lead to problems further down the road.
Also, hit me up if you're going shooting. I might be able to head down and join you! (Yes, "down". I'm at 9500')

"RNMike"Hell yeah I wanna go shooting! I don't know anybody here in Temecula ( So Cal ) that is into airguns. I'm going to be in Gunnison for a couple of days, and then in Bailey for almost 2 weeks. How close are you? R
RNMike, there is a poop load of us in SoCal not that far from you. NightHunter shoots down in Perri, i'm up in the Victorville area, Keyser is down that way too. Will have to put something up for our next meet and greet barbecue.
