I was working changing scopes around on two of my air rifles. There was a rug folded laying on a table and I used it to protect the guns while working on them. Finished my work and this piece of metal appears out of the blue on the rug/table I have absolutely no idea what it is or for that matter where it came from. It's possible it was on the rug when I placed the rug on the table but it would seem unlikely.
I did not in anyway disassemble either of my rifles. One is a HW 30 and the other is a Daystate Red Wolf Nothing seems to be missing. If this was not on the rug it almost had to come from the rifles.
Any idea's ? It's exactly 3 inches long. Tapers from .170 to .120 inches. Is clearly well machined and looks to be of importance. It's rounded on each end
Showed it to my wife who said "maybe it's part of sam's (grandson's) lego's" so she CLEARLY doesn't have a clue either. Lets see who the first smart guy is to identify this part. Gun or not gun.
