Took the plunge!! Bye Bye hand pump!!

I went new through Optics Planet....They had good sale on them and was around 350 plus 50 for the 110 plug unit....

I have been managing with the hand pump as my shooters max at a 3k fill but man getting a Sumatra to 3k after a couple mags is no easy task.....My Hatsan Flash and Gauntlet and BT65 are not to bad as I usually shoot 12 shots pump shoot 12 shots pump but will be nice to just hook it up and go!!

Opens up more options for guns as well since I wont be as limited based on volume and fill pressure.

I hope you have 3000 psi tube guns as these will fill bottle guns to 4350 psi but the piston rings WILL fail after prolonged filling to that pressure. Even when keeping the temperatures down the rings will eventually fail. Been there, done that. You will see the deterioration of the rings in your moisture filter, leaving a black spot .

Man this compressor is sweet!! Easy to set up with just installing the bleed screw and connecting the power cables!

No oil No mess!!

Flip on the fan connect the fill whip to the rifle flip on the compressor...

From 2000-3000 on my Gauntlet .25 was 1 minute 36 seconds.

Bleed the pressure and disconnect the gun and you are back shooting!

Worth every penney out of the box....Will keep you posted as it gets more use.

Any recommendations to address that issue....I will be filling from a compressor (Hatsan Spark) does that make a difference?

Where can I order the rings you mentioned?

I am a newbie so not sure of all the lingo as yet...

My recommendation is to fill to 3000 psi (207 bar) and not exceed that pressure. Cool with fan to ambient temperature before reuse or storage. I have not sourced parts for this compressor yet, probably need to email the manufacturer in China

The compressor arrived with an assortment of O rings etc. as well as filters for the fill whip.

So far my max fill has been 3k with the compressor running for no more than 5 minutes max.

I run the fan a minute before and 5 minutes after and so far the compressor its self has not even gotten warm enough for the temp display to register so so far so good.
