Took the LCS SA/FA out for a rabbit hunt

Just posted the video. This was my first hunt of the summer, we had to postpone our javalina hunt (at this same property) due to pandemic restrictions, then I took a major tumble and threw out my back. Spent the last couple months getting back to normal, about 80% recovered.

The gun I'm using is the LCS SK-19, the quarry are jackrabbits, and most shooting is with SA, but I switch over to FA just to see how it would work. Not suggesting FA for routine hunting, but sure is fun to shoot. The SA on this gun is really out standing and I look forward to using this gun a lot more (P-dogs in a couple weeks )

@echochap, great video as usual. Though not on my near term purchase list the LCS I sure will do well and one day I might get one. How does it compare to other .25 cals you have shot comparatively speaking for distance and can it fire slugs?

Mr. Chapman, glad to see you on the hunt again! Hope you continue to improve your mobility.

I love to shoot the desert jacks, and the PCP is, imho, the best platform for it. Quiet and accurate - and the LCS has the semi auto action that would make hunting those crafty little buggers a lot more fun.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. It is a cool gun, and jacks are a great quarry for airguns. I came off back to back injuries that has messed me up over a few months, but I'm exercising, gaining mobility, and need to get to my normal weight...... by the end of summer I hope to be there, ready for big game season.

The Jacks are cyclic, some years they are fairly thin on the ground, and some they are everywhere. Populations seem to be high right now. Going to SD next week for prairie dogs, but back to Texas soon for rabbits, hogs and predators.

Jim, great video! I saw the LCS-SK19 at RMAC last year at a distance and I said to myself, what have they done to the Impact. I walked straight to the rifle and saw it wasn’t what I thought. It is a great looking airgun and wouldn’t mind owning one. How many times have you had a large flock of pigeons or cowbirds launch in front of you and so many birds that you let a pellet fly only to miss the birds. I keep trying though because who doesn’t want to shoot a bird out of the air. Glad you are back and hope your back heals quickly. It’s no fun to be down in the back. Continue to have fun shooting. Great video. I appreciate the "full disclosure... sometimes I miss." I think that's everyone (I know it's me), but most vids just show how the shooter's a tack-drivers shot after shot. That's the appeal of the LCS to me, the semi option to get a repeat shot for a more humane kill, when I do miss. I've watched just about every video, read every review on the LCS. Anyone comments on long-term durability? I know this gun hasn't been out long enough for true "long-term" tests, but wondering if there's any hiccups...
