I was actually headed out to go squirrel hunting with my M3 Impact. My gages and regulators started freezing up in about an hour, but the gun still shot pretty close to POI.

sometimes its best to let pests get comfortable with their unacceptable behavior for a few days .. then blind-side them with a full assault when conditions are most favorable to you .. remember, the rule is they arnt controlling and running anything .. you are lol ...

I was out last night with below zero wind temps. Sat for over an hour before a rabbit showed up. Right between the eyes with my M3 at 35 yards. Spot on.

Longer range 100 yards it plays games for cold temps <32 F. I need to tune more and shoot less and it's freekin cold on top!!

The ONLY time I have seen issues was when you are looking at the -50 and colder temps. The seals inside the rifles don't like to function very well. Have been out squirrel hunting plenty of times with it below zero with no issues at all.

I just spent a week hunting at below zero temps. I was only out for 30-40min at a time so YMMV.
My safety got super stiff and my magazine didn't always advance on my BRK Sniper, other than that it worked fine. I didn't have either issue with my Avenger or Notos, go figure.
With all 3 my POI might be down a fraction, but not so much it made a difference on my Crosman squirrel targets I use to unload before heading inside.
Long term it might mean I'm replacing o-rings sooner, we'll see...
Regardless, I'm still going to go out no matter the weather.
