Too Big for my PCPs

This young one was just a little too curious… was perusing old videos and came across this one… Made me laugh all I had was my Atomic XR and the power of my voice…🙈

That beautiful tree cover and all those birds! What's it like to get rain? East coast life is so alien to me out in the west coast deserts. No baby black bears but we get mountain lions and skunks.

Dang Luis, that's the biggest, slowest squirrel I've ever seen!
The Black Squirrels do get big, bug dang! This one seem a little too relaxed close to the house.

I do feel fortunate for all the beautiful trees on my property…

It’s Sugar Bear! All he needs is a blue turtleneck sweater!

yes too relaxed and way to close to your house..
might consider if you are staying with Airgun a Texan 45 or 50..
I once had a mountain lion attack the neighbors horse and I believe it kicked the life out of the lion.. went off and died..horse was in bad shape but got it patched up.. little bit later I was hunting ground squirrels and there was a baby mountain lion maybe just slightly larger than a house cat.. seemed curious and hungry and I shot a squirrel and he ran and got it..it became a regular thing until he was the size of a anitolian shepherd..
one day I was moving stock and he jumped out of the brush at me, I drew my 45 old army and put a round well over his head, didn't want to kill him.. but he got a cloud of black powder smoke probably in his face because he was so close.. was the last time I saw him up close..he kept a big distance after that..
didn't want him to get a neighbor kid or something..

Using an Old Army for lion control is wild! 🤣 Glad you’re okay and the cat got the message! .45 sounds like you’re using the cartridge conversion?

nope shooting a beautiful stainless steel Ruger old army.. black powder 45 caliber is what they made the barrel..I used 454 lead balls.. it's probably been 10 years since I fired that gun.. I mostly shoot the Ruger Bearcat and Wrangler with 22 CB shorts or aguila colibri ammo.. colibri only has primer and 20 grain leaf, so it's like a pellet gun 450-500 fps.. the CB is a little faster 750 fps . but nice and quiet
