I figured I’d post my ugly shot groups too.

For some reason I haven’t gotten the gun to shoot right yet since I installed the new scope and tighter spring guide. I’ll be ordering more pellets here soon. All 3 shot groups are between .687 and .937 at exactly 27 measured yards. I have 2 5 shot groups with JSB exacts and one with JSB RS which is .875 but I did 8 shots and the last 5 shots when into a .5 group. I’m shooting at a low power right now so I think I’ll bump it up a tad and see what happens next time

I also picked up the wife’s hunter elite as I usually do for 3 shots. She was shooting around 12 yards and I put 3 shots into .187 or basically a jagged hole as always with that gun. However I also took 3 shots with it at my 27 yards to a much less pleasant group.

If you want an interesting test get an old stainless steel pen like the expensive executive or generic gift set an old broken one and file the end so its a hair smaller than a 177 pellet you want to size them a little. Go easy a little at a time then run pellets through must have some resistance use a wooden or plastic dowel rod with a blunt point to push thru.Make a wooden base 2 inch thick drill a hole till the pen sticks 3/4 way in enough scalloped underside for pellet to drop through using a fatter drill bit 1/3 way up from bottom side.
