FWB Today, The FWB…

The FWB 601 with peeps and post, off of a tripod at 10 Yards.
I shot at a Beeman reduced distance silhouette target with four different pellets, as a test.
I guess Beeman expected the use of a scoped rifle with this target as the animals are reduced from the air rifle distances..
I saw some Crosman 7.6 grain wadcutters (Spain) at the base today so I bought a tin to try out..
So…
#1 is 7.0 grain RWS WC
#2 is 7.33 grain JSB Diablo
#3 is 7.6 grain Crosman WC
#4 is 8.2 grain RWS WC

Nice shooting. It’s interesting that so many of your hits are on the right half of each animal.

Although I was shooting off of a tripod, I am still 80 years old and holding things steady can sometimes be a chore.
Hopefully it will happen to you..
I hope so. My grandfather made it to 94 and his mom made it to 104 so I’m hoping they passed a little of that magic down to me as well. We will have to see. My grandpa had an hw77 and a Benjamin Discovery and he shot in his back yard well into his 90s.

I hope you didn’t take my comment as a criticism. I’m actually impressed with the consistency of your hits. You must be holding the rifle, addressing the sights and working that trigger in a very consistent manner. When I’m having a good day and hitting most of my targets the pellet strikes are usually all over the animal. Still a hit but not like your targets here.
