To those with a JSAR without an adjustable reg

For anyone interested, I came across these today. There don't seem to be many, but it would seem that they are not exclusive to JSAR

Also I had mine apart tinkering today and found they have the same shim/bellville washer setup as a regular ninja reg so for those that would like to run at lower pressures, it is as simple as removing some shims. I was able to get mine down to 500-1500psi removing 2 of the 3 shims but brought it back up to a range of 900-1900psi with 2 shims which works out great for me switching from .177 to .30. The amount of flexibility this gun has is just awesome. Cool thing is that once I got it shooting around 15fpe with the reg at 900psi I turned it up to max just to see where it would land and without changing the hst or the striker depth I was getting a very consistent 575fpe with 8.4gn, just a hair over 6fpe. The weather is starting cool off slightly and I finally have some free weekends so I plan to get a lot more shooting done in the near future. I've got a lot more to learn. Ideally I want to be able to switch between the two calibers with as little adjustment as possible

Nice find Adam. They are a little pricey though.

It looks like it still has the pin valve installed. If true, I would gladly have paid the little extra $ upfront.

I ordered a Ninja Flex regulator a couple months ago from Hajimoto. $150.65 total. Strange that the package arrived and the return address was JSAR in Oregon. Unfortunately, it did not come with the pin valve. Hajimoto told me that they remove the pin valves since they can't use them in the Raptors or Gauntlets. My use was not for a Raptor or Gauntlet. My gun has a knob to activate/deactivate the pin valve, so I wanted/needed to have the pin valve. Hajimoto told me to talk to Ninja about getting the pin valve. Ninja customer service told me to send a SASE and they would send me one. After doing so I waited but never got it so I called again. They said they never got the envelope and asked for my address and they would send it out. I gave them my address buy I never got it. I found a Nina pin valve ($12) on Amazon that looked like it might work in the Flex regulator so I ordered one, but it didn't work in the Flex. I used the Flex regulator for awhile without the pin valve, and it works well enough, but did not like the fact that the missing pin valve meant I had to completely drain the bottle every time I wanted to swap or remove it. I'm back to using a Chinese regulator (with a working pin valve) again. If I can ever get a pin valve that actually works with the Flex regulator, I might use it again.

I have M18x1.5 tank threads. The Ninja Flex regulators are available in either M18x1.5 or 5/8-18UNF. The MCS web site does not give an option for the tank thread size, so I need to check with them on Monday to see if they have the correct one. I'll also check to see if they come with the pin valve. If they do, I'll probably order one from them. Hopefully, I'll be able to use that earlier flex regulator from Hajimoto/JSAR (with no pin valve) on some future project, or I'll sell it.

MCSUS emailed me back. They stock only the 5/8-18 Flex regulators, but they do come with the pin valve. I got a response from Hajimoto and he said he would check into it with Ninja, but I have not heard back from Ninja. I also emailed JSAR as I heard that they have a bunch of Flex regulator pin valves that they removed since they don't use. I have not heard back from them yet.

Anyone have a Flex regulator pin valve that they could send me?
