To those planning to get a Leshiy 2

.22/350

I'll probably be shifting my Leshiy "Classic" to .177/350 and moving in the direction of slugs for it.

Are the Leshiy barrels unchoked?

I don't think so. I inquired in this forum once about slugs in the Leshiy, but did not get much. I may buy some in .177 and try them in my 350mm barrel and see if I get lucky.

Replying to these question about the Leshiy and slugs. All the barrels are choked and they don't shoot slugs well at all. Pellets hole on hole at 17 yards, slugs get at least a 1" spread at the same distances. I've tried this in .177 (NSA), .22 (NSA, FX, H&N), .30 (NSA) with poor results. I wouldn't plan for the Leshiy 2 to be any different - but who's taking these guns out to 100 yards regularly? I've been tempted to get an unchoked barrel machined for my Leshiy but haven't done it yet.

For the Leshiy 2 I am planning on a .25. Haven't settled on 250 or 350mm barrel, but leaning towards the 250mm.

I just stole a Riton 3-9x40 recently that I was planning on using, but I'm eyeing this up as well. I have 2 other Ritons that are very nice, but I like the weight of this. I have a Sumatra 2500 I shoot with the iron sights, but want a scope option, too. The Veyron and its light weight probably suits the 2500 better and the little extra weight of the Riton probably will fit the L2 perfectly. Having. both would make a decision easy.

Im defiantly going to wait and see the reviews before getting one. I think (and this is just my opinion) that for what you are getting its far to expensive. I mean for that price why not get an Impact? Hell, I dont even care for FX personally and love EDgun's stuff but the new Leshiy seems like it will be very limited. The Leshiy classic as its now being called, to me is like a Swiss army knife. Im sure this thing will be built well as all EDguns are but will it preform next to a Lelya or R5M, or even the classic for example? Anyone else feel the same?

There are lots of reviews on the net already

Too expensive? - nothing to compare with, there is nothing like it

The incomparable Leshiy 2 can be compared to the huben and sk-19. They all are hammerless and semi auto bull pups. The other features that the L2 has can be had with the Leshiy classic. I do like that it’s the smallest compared to the others and the removable mags are a nice innovation for hammerless PCPs even if they’re small capacity

The small size and weight is what does it for me, same goes for the Leshiy Classic, just got a second one as backup, always have the Classic with me, shoot it every day, at home or at work, never did that with all my other airguns

Lucky SOB.

I'm working from home lately and still don't get to shoot anything everyday. Lucky I can read here, let alone post once in awhile.

Luckier than the poor SOBs that don't have AG's, though 😁😁

So sorry to hear that - will light a candle for you...on my indoor 34 meter range and count how many shots it will take to put it out 😂

So seeing how I have only ever had 2 airguns in my life and both being springers, not sure how value my 2 cents is worth.. But I do have my heart set on buying my first PCP here soon.. I really really really would like it to be a EdGun and the with the Leshiy2 most of my boxes are checked. With that being said I would/ hopefully get a 22/250mm with a 30/350 barrel kit.. I live here in Texas on a prairie with many coyotes, raccoons, skunks, opossums, wild hogs, few squirrels on the hill ,its a prairie after all but down in the creek bottoms no telling what you run across.. But here in Texas the 30 cal make it legal for me to hunt all the above mentioned.

All opinions are valued, in my opinion. ;) That's the exact barrel combo I got on the pre-order with. I don't hunt up here in the NorthEast, but similar thought process. The .22 in short for some fun plinking, and the .30 long for more powerful longer range shots. I am also hoping for a better slug experience with the un-choked barrels.

I ordered 2 / 350 setups.

I have heard the barrels will now come threaded with 1/2x20 UNF.

This will give guys more options to customize their setup with sound moderation how they want it. For me it's a matter of keeping my options open on being compact as I want it but also as quiet as I want it depending on the power levels I want to use and situations.

This probably doesn't matter to some guys but also in a take down rifle kind of way, I would rather thread on a moderator VS pulling out my allen wrench and dealing with 2 Allen screws.

Thank you Ed and team for keeping things versatile.

I'm excited to get my L2 and put it into action.
