Although I'm not sure, it does not appear that the Leshiy 2 will be as easy to swap calibers as the original Leshiy, so the original caliber one chooses will be even more important. I'm thinking either .22 or .25 as a starting point. What calibers are some of you going to make your original purchase in?

Good to know. Caliber swap never was a selling point for me so I wont miss it. I dont know that I'm 'planning' on getting one, but I will say that it certainly has perked my interest. Love the looks of it and semi auto is a bonus.

I’m leaning .22 for pellet weight options, but seems from videos that most guys shooting heavies in .25. Not clear yet for me either.

The bigger calibers can be a handful in the larger calibers if you shoot them at high power in such a small, light gun.

Ah, so the valves and regulator adjustments may have factory settings per caliber...I was like, what? It's only a couple of hex screws.....
I guess I'll need to know how tough it is to change those first, but I'm thinking if I take the leap, I'll go big,I'll go .30/350mm. And then get a .22 barrel.

I'm planning on the .25, but may change to .22, but plan to go with the longer barrel, just love the looks.

I may put my .25 350mm barrel on my original Leshiy (.22 350mm now) and shoot it to help me make up my mind.

I assume with this gun folk are happy with pellets?.
With no knowledge as to if it will even shoot slugs well, and with major brand (sorry nick*) .25 slugs still in the infancy stage, calibre choice is difficult beyond .22.

In saying that I have held out from buying any gun, in the hope that hubens 2020 .25 shoots the new (soon? to be released) JSB H&N .25 slugs well.

.25 with 250mm barrel for me. Next caliber will be .30 with 350mm barrel. I already have a Leshiy 1 in .22 and I think I'm going to keep the power at 12fpe. I have not ordered additional barrels for it yet so it's a good thing.

350mm makes more sense to me. Good compromise of power to weight. .25 caliber is also a good compromise between availability of ammo options and “terminal” performance.

I'm on "the list" and my choice will be the .25 in 250 for backyard varminting, and then get the .30 in 350 for some serious hunting. I really like the simplicity of swapping out the barrels.
I have a .25 Gen2 Marauder (tuned with Tim Hill's stuff) that shoots lights out, and a new Edgun Matador R5m in .25. So to just stay in the same caliber makes sense to me for now.
When the Leshiy 2 comes out the Marauder goes in the classified.

It will be 250mm in .22 for me. My current Leshiy is shooting 18gr Jsb’s at 780’s which to me is very manageable in the small platform. Don’t want it any larger, leaves more room in my hunting pack.

I inquired about the .25 with 350 barrel. I was told that the initial run in .25 would only be available with the 250 barrel.

No, I don't subscribe to ridged thinking; initially, I thought that is what I could order, but Ed has modified the dealer list. So I will be ordering 350 and 250 barrels for each gun caliber, but probably I will mostly order the bigger calibers with the 350 set up. With the Leshiy classic, I have a pretty good scatter chart of what calibers people want, the 177 being the rarest, and the 25 and 22 is an even split. On my website, you'll see two options to order, 250 & 350. I am watching this thread closely as it will help me understand wants

It will be .25 for me. I'd prefer the 250MM barrel as long as FPE and shot count aren't too much below the 350mm.... 4 inches of difference.
I was not planning to buy another PCP this year. However, this Edgun Leshiy 2 seems like a perfect, 50 yard and under squirrel rifle.
