Tmac\'s airgun show N.C. ?

There are some dealers there as well as many air gunners like myself. It is a great place to meet kindred spirits, and try out different air guns. Tony and Karen McDaniel put on a great show with hourly door prizes. I usually have 2 tables with items that range from pellets to scopes and mounts, and several air guns. I haven't missed a show .

I went last year for the first time and enjoyed it. There was some of almost everything. I only had a Marauder before I went last year, hoping to get hands on with some options before making my decision on an upgrade to something else. I am very glad I did. Between the dealers like Bakers and Lexington airguns, there was options of most of the new stuff. Then there were many other tables with new and nice used stuff too. One of the tables was big bore stuff that I could have never imagined. I enjoyed talking to that guy for a while.

TY smok3y this is the type of info i am looking for as this will be my first airgun show ever, and wanted to know if it would be worth the drive.

Yeah man. I remember wondering if it would be a waste of my time or not, but several people on the forums convinced me it would be worth it. I met a few of the people on here and local range people. I was able to meet a local dealer, which was nice too. I was able to hold every rifle I had hoped to hold. I found that I didn’t like rifles I thought I would like and liked some others. It made me realize how much I preferred the Crown and Red Wolf more that other designs. I almost purchased a RAW from a guy and really wanted to purchase a Cricket, but it wasn’t for sale. 

I was pleased as we don’t have air rifle shops out here anywhere, so it was my one and only opportunity to check out a lot of different things. I will happily go back this year.

molder, you should look at the Tipan or Vulcan or the new Uragan. I have a Tipan .25 and LOVE shooting it. I never thought I would enjoy shooting a .25 but it is fun. The triggers and accuracy are incredible and the prices can be equivalent or lower than the FX. 

I went to the show from Oklahoma last year and it was a great show. Lots of variety. Not sure if I am going this year or not. I most likely will be going to the National FT in October so I doubt I will make it to the show this year. You should also think about the Mid America show in Columbus, Oh.
