Good clean-up job. Mine is exactly like your's but always kept in excellent shape, SN TM0789. What the heck is that contraption at the rear of the scope?

It is an aperture for depth of field. I think it is as so he could see the reticle and not use his glasses?

He is a cool guy, just very much a person that sees these as a tool for a task. Can in some ways see his approach looking back at some the cars I have used as track cars.

This will be the last post on the rifle until probably October when I can get with Martin.

Cleaned up the scope and put a couple coats of wax on the stock. Don’t mind the toothpicks glued up in the extra screw holes.

Throw in a few bonus pictures of my rifle. HM100. Got to admit the silver and the tube is a much more elegant looking package.
