TJ3 SLO-FLO Valve issue?

I have the TJ3 SLO-FLO Valve and wondered if anyone has experienced this? When i open it air escapes from what I assume is the relief valve (small hole in the valve housing) and makes a loud squeal.
When i open it up with nothing attached there is no escape or sound other than compressed gas from the open valve.
I have used another whip on it and the same thing happens even though that whip , when used with another bottle and same valve works fine.

I am kind of perplexed and wonder if there are any obvious things to do other than replace the valve?

appreciate any help

Answered my own question (well AirTanksForSale did). there is an Oring located on the exit end where the air outflows. They knew to look there because the hole that was leaking air is there to help if an Oring is damaged. The ring was not seated in one section and letting air flow past. So.. They are sending a replacement out and all will be well I trust.
Thanks
