FX Titanium Impact M3/M4 magazine

Made a one-off from titanium for no other reason than a) I happened to come across an off-cut of grade 5 that was just the right size to make a magazine out of, and b) since I'd never machined titanium (or even stainless) before I thought it would be a good learning experience.

Probably Russia, since they're the world's biggest exporter. Or better yet, the Soviet Union, to be machined into American spy planes

First guess...correct.

The US had to get various, non-aerospace companies to buy it (lots of it). No way that they would sell to an aircraft manufacturer !
