Titan Gp Titan Np

Can anyone tell why some Titans have "GP" on them and some have "NP" on them please?

I know that "NP" stands for "Nitro-Piston" and I'm guessing that "GP" stands for "Gas-Piston", but is there a difference between the two internally?

As far as I know it's just a different marking, the internals are the same.
