timer that measures movement/vibration for compressor

i thought i recall seeing in a video or post, someone recommending to attach a timer that starts and stop based on vibration/movement. the recommendation was so that you can monitor the total running hours of your compressor, and have a clear idea of when to change filters/oil/grease/etc.

does anyone have a link to one, or know what to call one of these timers? my googling skills are failing me, and i end up looking at a bunch of timers that vibrate when they go off instead

Make sure that is a vibration type meter and not activated by electrical spark from small engine! Big difference.

I use a calender, change oil once a year and done, I don't put enough hrs on my compressor to meet the hourly recommended change in a years time so I change annually and maintain that comfort zone of protection

I just bought that same one and set it up not too long ago. There is a running total (not resettable) that gives the total hours, then there is a resettable timer that I"m using to schedule maintainance. So I know when 10 hours is up for filter/oil changes.

This is the one that I'm using and it seems to be tracking well, but only after moving it. I did have it on the plastic housing on the top of the Daystate. The frequency of the vibration was wrong, so I moved it to the steel frame at the base:
