I got a call from the land owner on my hunting lease ( his hay field and land) that the pigs are tearing up the place again. I am going out tonight to see if I can slim the herd down some. 
These Texas hogs are getting SMART I know that I was out on the place not two days before he called me and did not see a sign of them. I have two traps and he said that one of the traps had the door almost tore off it, ..mmmmm Maybe I will make sure to find me a good available easy to climb escape tree close to my hunting spot. sounds like a bruiser

50 cal with 280 grain slugs... I should just use some texas skeeters man these things are eating me up tonight

Watch for rattlesnakes, I usually hunt them, But not this year, Already killed five in my yard,

I ran into 5 hogs about 10:30 spooked them before I could get a bead on them.
Got some grape cool aid corn out maybe it will tease them back out into the open

Went back out tonight same group as last night got one in the boilerplate and he ran off into the woods, another charged me... or at least was running in my direction and between me climbing and all of them going every which way I lost were he went in at. I was hunting alone and with no backup so I aint going to go in the woods after what may be a very aggravated 200 pig.

I certainly wouldnt leave a possibly wounded animal in the woods over night,if your not prepared to see the hunt right to the very end ,you shouldnt be pulling the trigger on them.
My experience i hunt wild boar in germany every month for the last 18 years and other parts of europe, ,and i guide people boar hunting ,and if we have a pig thats run off we track them by blood ,and finish the job properly,

Cost me a case of shiners and some not so Suttle threats about hunting when decent people should be sleeping and I have no doubt he will find the nastiest chore that just all of a sudden he can't do alone but it's cool he knows I would do the same for him

I am waiting for hatson to release the 45 hurc so I don't have a big bore air gun, that I use. The only thing I can use it for is hog hunting so ya, I buy something like that right now and wll2506 might be predictin the future. I have been putting all my money into my business.
I shoot a 40 cal black powder.
