Time for another gun....

I got one of the woods walker versions on cyber Monday during the 45% off day at Crosman. And as the weather improves I'm sure ill start tinkering with it. For now I just put one of my 3x9 Leopold scopes on it and it seems to shoot very good at 25 yards. But I'm still in the "which pellet" testing stage.

Day 2 was a lot better. No more sleep buh t better mental state. I dropped the red dot and put on a 3x9x40. Maxed out zoom and small eye relief made for much more repeatable positioning. The 30 yard line saw 95% hits on the 1" spinner. The 40 yard line needs some more work. The pellets were eujin heavies and a lot of them were deformed at the skirts. Away from the covered porch, the gun is very quiet, even without the ldc.

I was getting a little puff if air in my face from the breach on some shots. I assume that is from hammer bounce. Lots of fun in this little gun..

I got one for my son a while back- the best pellet we tested was the H&N FTTs in 5.53 head size. Ours may have needed barrel work as it wouldn't do much better than a 1" group at 30 yards. Definitely a fun little shooter though!
