Tiapen in garage with Epic ?

If this is true looks like I will be breaking my dry spell of buying new guns. The Taipans are the best guns out there and for some reason I group my Cricket B/P 22 in with the Taipan guns, You just cant go wrong with the brand . Unless you buy one that was dropped out of an airplane ,

Yep. Plus 1 here. The new Gen2 Taipan “Compact” isn’t really compact like the Gen1 Compact. Not sold on the Gen2 appearance either..JMNSHO

It will be the bottle Epic , So the Epic 2 , I like the extra shots out of the bottle guns , The Taipan bottle gun is not for me looks like the bottle was a big after thought ,

I see Epic as the future "branching out" of taipan. These guys came from there. Maybe Taipan Chiefs were to conservative in their decisions for the now separate Epic people. I see similarities in the two. Both good.

Only problem I'm seeing from Epic is they seem to be having issues with the guns. Creeping regs, slow shots when sitting, magazine causing flyers and such. Taipan never had this before on new guns brought to market.

Yes, they were. But a lot of it is due to the low reg setting, especially in uk sub 12 foot pound. They designed the regs for upwards of 170-200 bar if needed. But, yes, I have to prove it. But think, if the pressure is relatively equal by comparison, 170 vs 300 I’d much closer than 300 to 90 , or 70.

Very true points there. I havent really seen any guns US based where guys are shooting FAC. Almost all are UK .177s.
