Michael,
To answer your question, I can use either one, both items are setup very accurately. I use Strelok Pro quit a bit to quiet all the doubters that dont think these actual yards that I shoot are real. If I did dail my elevation turret to the correct yards, would the public truely believe that I was shooting small squirrels @ 60 & 92 yards? Maybe but probably not. Will the public really think this lil old 12" .22 Shorty barrel is accurate out to 60 or 92 yards? Maybe but probably not. The Shorty's Eric Sanders elevation turret is set up very accurately whenever I want to "dial her in" but being new here on AGN, I figure I'd better shoot using hold over to prove myself. Yes, rangefinding your critter takes 2 seconds, then setting your paralax knob to the accurate yardage takes 2 seconds, then opening the Strelok Pro app & punching in the data in SP takes 5 seconds, then shoving/adjusting my cell phone into the side-shot takes 2 seconds, then opening up my camera video app takes 2 seconds, then locating the critter takes a second, then making sure your rifle bubble level is level takes a second, then making sure your rifle is not torqued in a weird position takes a second, then making sure your body is in a comfortable shooting position takes a second, then finding the critter @ the correct holdover takes a second, then waiting for the best moment to pull the trigger can take "FOREVER," but after pulling your 6 oz. trigger, & watching your critter do the Michael Jackson "Thriller Dance" & doing the helicopter w/ its fluffy furry tale & finally passing...its worth it to me...hahah. If the critter decides to "run for the hills" before I complete all the above (sometimes not in that specific order), then so be it, she wasn't meant to be blasted. Of course, I'd be bummed out not to blast 'em, but I've learned to be patient, to shot another day & the critters will always be back for more fun next time around...
Hope this answers your question...
