JohnnyPiston just duplicated your stippling, not. Never did anything like this before. Looking closely at yours, I have to make a smaller point, and tighten them. I ground down a lag bolt for my point.Also your stippling has a solid stain or a black stain with several coats of lacquer to soften it. I’m also wondering about the wood, I used maple and yours is walnut which I think is a little more porous. Now the v-groves,I found a Roybi power chisel, again never used before, cut nice clean uniform lines. I cut all those lines fast,(Like Jackie Gleason doing zip zip commercial). It would definitely work for going around the perimeter of any checkering or stippling. If I make any more progress I’ll post it.
