Something for the spring gun fanatics:

The TX200 MK2 .177 is a Paul Watts masterpiece, and has seniority in this spring gun huddle. Besides Paul's work on the inside, he also stippled/finished the rare JM fully adjustable, gorgeous figured walnut target stock (one of three JM made if memory serves me right). Straight trigger blade of brass, angled for right hand shooters. Brass oversized safety. This sweetheart will get scoped soon .

Weihrauch HW97k .20, V-Mach V-Glide FAC kit, V-Mach Rekord trigger unit with straight blade angled trigger, select figure walnut target stock by Custom Stocks of Sheffield. Zaps squirrel domes and small targets alike with accuracy.

The TX stock has incredible depth to it, just need a sunny day to snap better pics. They're fine, solid shooters.

Here's what I meant by the TX200 target stock having incredible depth:

Notice the double lines surrounding the stippling that add a dignified, tasteful touch of class. The stippling itself is very finely done. Makes me think of high grade pebbled leather, the kind on women's purses.

You have to love figured walnut. Satin finish very nice. Is the stippling produced by sand blasting?

I'm pretty sure the stippling was done by hand with a dremel tool or similar. Maybe Paul can comment on the technique involved.

Sweet! Usually that kind of stippling is done with a punch tool.
