Yeah what a terrible disaster, no shortage of looters as well as great people helping. That Cajun Navy is awesome, happy that there's still good people in this World, thanks Michael.

Please do donate, but if someone calls soliciting funds for some unknown group, pretty much just hang up. So many of these outfits take the money and run, or give 10% or something. I believe Walmart and Costco are taking donations, the Red Cross is always a good bet, and other reliable organizations are good bets, but the fraudsters are already out in force trying to take advantage of those willing to donate.

​Lets make sure the cash gets to the right location and not into some fraudster's pockets.

​My son and his wife are in Mississippi and spent a good deal of Friday in Tornado shelters. All remains of Harvey. It isn't over quite yet.

I donated via the American Red Cross' site specifically for Hurricane Harvey victims. It's sad that some people will negatively exploit contributions for personal gain, so one good way to avoid this is to go directly to the organization's dedicated offices, outlets or website and make your donations there.

I think we all at least know a person in Fl. I have Friends and family in south florida who just wouldn't leave. I hope them and the rest the best of outcomes. Thank you Micheal.

We are borded up, mass amount off water and food, got my Jeep (4ft certified)ready for high water rescue, my wife is a Dr, so she'll be in the community for the medical needy.

Just got a message from Steve. He & his family survived the storm. They, along with 3.5 million others lost electricity, but otherwise damage has be minimal in their area.
