Thoughts on these 2?

Has anyone had any experience or thoughts on an AirMaks Caiman X or RAW HM1000 Chassis air gun? Talked to a gentleman at Utah air who suggested these were excellent PCP air guns and comparable in price and performance to say - the Taipan Veteran standard? Trying to narrow down my initial PCP air gum selection. Thanks

Raw hm1000x is my dream gun.... Sadly haven't shot one yet so no real experience. I can say that I have never heard a negative thing about them. Guys use them for bench rest shooting and competing the most I believe. I would much prefer the raw to taipan veteran. No reason for it I suppose I just like the looks more. I'm sure thier both fantastic airguns tho. Definitely at that tier 1 level.

My son shoots a RAW HM1000X and absolutely loves it. It’s very well made, always works as it should, is smooth, very accurate, comfortable, easy to maintain and work on, and is a joy to shoot. We think it looks great too. You can’t go wrong with a RAW.

Raden, you should come up this spring. .Me, Augie, Dennis, Yenn, Neil Clague and a quite a few other are talking about having a big shoot and BBQ. Just waiting for Covid to end!

I have The new chassis Raw in .22 and love it. But boy is it a tank. Heavy. And I also have 2 Taipan Veterans. One in .22 and other .25 with the power plenum, which gets 67fpe with Jsb 34gr. I find myself grabbing the Taipans and other rifles alot more than I do my Raw. I'm a field hunting more than I am at a bench. My Daystate wolverine R HP even takes a backseat when it comes to which rifle to grab for hunting. The Taipans may seem a bit awkward at first, but I'm so use to them now, I don't even notice. Tack drivers at long range too. And like slugs if that's what your wanting also. Can't go wrong with any of them. Just depends on what your wanting to do.
