Thoughts on the Delta Wolf .22?

I love my DW .22 cal. 

There is so much to explore. This rifle is the cutting edge. The accuracy is on par with the Impact, with less mechanical manual tuning. I enjoy the computerized tuning. Not to mention, any tune can be stored and retrieved with a touch of the screen.

If the rifle can be tuned using the touchscreen, what is the programmer used for?

Only for Red Wolf's not the Delta Wolf. No programmer needed

Nice. I was hoping the USB interface might make it possible for software updates and programming using a laptop so glad to hear I don’t need the special programming device.

I got my .22 Delta Wolf last month. Was on the waiting list since April 2020. When I got on the list I was locked in at the price of $2995. So it saved me around 500 beans I like everything about it. Well built. And accurate. I got it set up with a PARD NV008P LRF for night time rat shooting at my buddies farm that is loaded with them. Airguns of Arizona even programs some of the best shooting pellets into the gun already which is nice. Great gun.

Thanks for the feedback! How loud is it? I’m wondering about a moderator, but I think it has M20x1 threads so I’ll need an adapter for my Donny.

To me it doesn’t seem loud at all. However, when I got the call from AoA that my gun was in,I did also order an ODB moderator for it from them that fits it perfectly. I haven’t shot the gun with it on yet though.

They suggested the $299 0db magnum for me. But since I already have a Donny and the magnum only comes in .30 I figured I should hold off and try mine. 

Which one did you get?

My experience with the new .22 Alpha Wolf HP is all good. Except perhaps it's noise.

Dial in FPS and it's there within a few shots.
Next session it's within 5 FPS of the set point.
Stable zero.
Great accuracy.
Very low barrel fouling.


It's a tad noisy over 900 FPS. Even with a decent moderator.

But overall, it's the best PCP I've ever owned.
