Yup, just the thought of the simplicity, lighter weight and lower cost is mighty attractive. Deserves a try, at least. I have a strong hunch I'd like it. I'll watch for the annual SWFA sale.
I check the swfa’s sample list from time to time and have found great deals on there. So far I’m liking my 3-15 ffp. It’s not my first ffp but the other is on a seldom used pb. I’m liking the holdovers and have found with the strelok to be fast and accurate. It’s a done deal now anyway and unless I have a drastic change of heart it will stay on my veteran. That being said I might try a 3-15 spf on yet another pb coyote rifle. It is a nice thing to have a selection but that can end up being a collection down the road.
