I notice that they are cheaper then the air arms that I shoot but idk of they are the same as the crossman premiers just in a different tin, or if they are even any good. Are they worth trying?
In order to know if a particular pellet is accurate, it has to be tried. Someone with the same gun maybe getting different results than you would be getting. as for the Benjamin pellets particularly in .25 caliber and Crosman in all other calibers, in all the guns I’ve owned... they sucked....
I really like shooting cheap pellets and if you are lucky enough to own a gun that likes them good for you. Only way to find out is to shoot them in your own particular gun.
If you have a good barrel then it may shoot cheap pellets exceptionally well.
The Benjamin Hollowpoints and Crosman may look the same but don't shoot the same. I have a 22 Discovery that gets nickle sized groups at 65 yards shooting Discovery PCP labeled Hollowpoints and won't do it with the cheaper Crosman Hollowpoint twin.
Many of my guns can tell the difference and not necessarily the Benjamin label is better just depends on the gun.
You may own 10 of the exact same guns in the same calibers and odds are not all will like one favorite pellet.
When I but a used gun first question how accurate at 50 yards with Wal-Mart Crosman Premier Hollowpoints. FACT.
If it shoots those Crosman Hollowpoints that good it should most likely be a laser with JSB and AA pellets.
Just have to try everything and decide if that level of accuracy is good enough for you or keep that distance short enough for that specific pellet.
I'm feeling lucked out having guns that easily do sub one inch (some even better) at 50 yards all day long with Wal-Mart Crosman CPHPs. Odds aren't that good though but I have a ridiculous amount of guns.
