This is great news! I have had one on order for a couple of months. Now I've got to find an MDS hammer, asap! If not JSAR where/who currently is selling MDS hammers right now? I have a Hill 30 gram aluminum hammer but I guess they won't work either, probably due to galling.

I was told by Jacob that the Hill LW hammers would qualify as a compatible choice.

So it’s actually ok for an aluminum hammer to be used within an aluminum tube? Is this what I’m understanding that Jacob says is ok? That’s been the only reason I haven’t invested in that lightweight tube, is because I didn’t want to not use Hill’s hammer.

I'm in the same mind frame Bigragu. I would love to shed 1.5 pounds off a couple of my marauders if that's the case. I've always just seen where the vendor states a MDS hammer must be used to avoid galling inside the tube. If this is true and gets out they might have a huge demand for aluminum tubes. Get'em while their hot boy's and girl's!
