Last spring I found they got under the hood of my Honda Ridgeline and chewed the plastic all the way across the firewall ang then chewed a big hole in the fuse box cover so I declared war and so far I have dispatched 50 of the little rodents, I don't see to many in my yard anymore but when I do they generally don't last long.

I declared war on them after they chewed a hole in the gas line of my Honda accaord...it been on going for 3 years. They are scarce now and when I see one I have been tending to let them go because they are hanging on the perimeter of my yard...this pic reminds me of why I started dispatching these pest and rekindles my desire to quietly pop um with my new Wildcat...She is looking for a cozy place to nest...get her before she gets you you are in danger!!!.

I have more problems from deer and neighbor's cats that are running loose but the squirrels in large numbers can cause significant damage to trees. They like to eat the top shoots and the bark on branches and can greatly stunt the growth of the trees, in particular with pine trees and oaks.
