Just a few of many, rereading and a lot of stuff I pass over before.

I ordered a gun right before all this crap started. Initially I was hoping for a really good gun like a Taipan or EDgun. One that you just clean the barrel, air up and shoot forever. It arrived a week ago and it needs some fine tuning. That actually made me happy. Glad it wasn’t perfect out of the box because because it will give me something to do. I am not a big gun review guy but with all this down time, I might review it just to give guys something to read. Especially because nobody owns this gun. Might even do it on both forums if I really get bored. Headed downstairs to the shop to make a SSG for it now.

The boss says bills don't get paid if the work stops(self employed). The customer agrees. The customer doesn't know about my thumb.

Edit: The plastic wall is in place to mitigate dust migration into the rest of the apartment. I have access to fresh air once sealed in. It's better than canoodling at the grocery store using my cage fighting skills to procure toiletries.

@maineiac @davelarson Thanks! I really do not consider myself a hero though. Just doing my duty. Just learned we have a confirmed case in house. 12y/o girl. I mainly work in the NICU and do NICU transports, but exposure is probable.

@johninma Man, nice work! I just had my kitchen done last year, would have definitely called on you if you lived in Dixie 😆 Ouchhhh!!! Why are you sorry though?

Well, I managed to get a little light after work and did a little shooting and filming for my YT POI series. Trying to stay safe though, but the show must go on!!

Strangely, life is unaltered for us. We homeschool so the kids are still doing what they did before this. I’m a lineman for a power company so I’m still out there keeping the lights on. It’s springtime now and the yard work has begun. I’ve tuned up all of the gas power equipment except for repairing the tiller. I have that on the table for this weekend (Sunday and Monday are my days off). With 7 kids still at home we are usually stocked on food/supplies so we are good there for now. Just doing we always have. I hope to get some air time this weekend. I need to check the weather....

@houston What airgun is that up there? Beautiful lines.

@greenarrow +1 here, we home school, so in a way we are feeling almost like the preppers must be feeling in a way, "we good" Both my wife and I work in health care, and have been "lucky" not to have lost any work hours, but we are potentially more exposed, so.... However, we can not pretend life is not altered. Everything is closed around here, church, schools, etc.

I was laid off this past Thursday, don't know when the family owned business will open back up - the boss is scared, his whole life is tied in with his business, plus he has a new baby boy -

Getting a few more hours at the driving range, good thing I actually like Ramen noodles lol -

Gonna break out the wire brush, WD40, and spray paint and get my targets ready for spring FT practice, and also still tinkering with Crosman pistols and carbines.

The virus is obviously a very scary thing, but I'm not hearing much about the economic effect, and to be honest, more concerned with that, as a lot of the folks that don't get sick

are going to go broke -

I have been going to the beach and metal detecting. Found a few rings but they’re all junkers. So many people went to the beach and parks this weekend and completely ignored the “stay 6’ away” guidelines that now they’re all closed.
I shot my Prod for a little bit today in my yard before it started to rain. I’ve got a DonnyFL Sumo on it and I shoot at a ball of putty hanging on some weed wacker line. There’s also putty behind it for the missed shots. It’s a nice quiet set up. I’ve been practicing my standing position shots. Stay healthy everyone

Been passing some time weighing pellets to replenish the daily shooting supply. So far 1,000 JSB .177 10.34 that were all between 10.1 and 10.5gr. That was across two tins so I thought that was pretty decent. Then 500 JSB .22 14.35 that were between 14.0 and 14.5gr with a handful of outliers. Finally 300 H&N Baracuda .30 46.3 that were mostly between 46.7 and 47.3 with about 25 falling between 46.5 and 46.7. Overall not bad spreads for the different tins, the qc seems to have gotten tighter at JSB (or, more likely, I just got good batches) as my tins from 2 years ago were all over the place with 1.5 - 2.0gr spreads in one tin.
