She started live a meek little Raptor Mini and morphed into a fire breathing monster! LOL. .218-.223-. .250 .257 and soon a .172 or .30. Got to flip a quarter to decide. LOL

(Open in new tab for full size pic's) Apologies for the less than perfect pic's. Old Sony with Zeiss Lens, but no view finder. Screen completely washed out in the bright Texas Sun. Couldn't see a thing. GRRRR!!!!

Thanks Guys, the 1911 is a Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special. He is an old racing buddy. I had a Street Strip Mustang called the Mr. 5.0 Dare Car. man I miss that fire breather!

In the summer I keep the 1911 loaded with two first rounds as snake loads here at the house. We have a lot of Rattle Snakes. Full loads at night for the Yotes and trips to town.

And thanks for he Compliment D.W.! I hadn't thought about it, but you rally don't see it much anymore. But I'm a HandGunner at heart.

Yep, a good weather day. Finally!

It shoots even better than it looks L.G. D.. ;<) Les Baer's are fantastic shooters. It has the 3" at 50 yard guarantee. It does better! 😉

I couldn't get a clear look, but knowing you, it had to be something special, haha. I havnt got to shoot a huge range of them... Though I have used a nighthawk, and was not impressed. Likely due to it being a heavily used, rarely cleaned range rental. Mine is just a factory 5" colt competition model with some nice walnut grips and tritium sights. On a good day I can hit a 2 litre at 100 yards. Just don't ask me to do it twice, lol.
