Sorry to hear of your difficulties Scott. I see the weather reports on the news but your post makes the issues a lot more real. I've never considered what happens if my septic fills with water. I live on a large lake and I'm pretty sure the utility that owns/manages it will open the flood gates so my yard doesn't flood but with the amount of rain you describe who knows. The utility (Dominion) will not want our septics to flow into the lake but too much water into the river from the floodgates floods other people and could even impact downtown Columbia, SC. When we had our "1000 year flood" it busted a bunch of small dams in the area but was a total non-event for me. Anyway, sorry to hear of your difficulties and I hope it gets better very soon.
