Hatsan Thinking of owning a Hatsan jet 1

Good day folks,

As the title says, I am thinking of getting a Jet 1 but watching reviews on youtube and reading forum freedbacks from owners got me now confused.
If you have owned one or still own one, what was your experience with it and what work needs to be done to it to make it better than its factory state?
If you let yours go, why? what about it didnt you personally like?

The reason i want one is to have a small pcp for plinking and not have to lug my maverick sniper when i just wanna shoot cans.

thanks all!
(PS if you have one you're thinkin of selling do let me know!)

Every single one that I know personally, that has had one, including mine, would fail and often. I don't usually try to tell anyone not to buy anything, even from hatsan as I do like some of their rifles. But this one is not it, please do yourself a favor by not wasting your money on one, and instead getting a notos. It is regulated, it has a smidge, more power and it gets about as many shots, plus if down the line you wanna customize it, you can. There are plenty of threads on this forum of notos being customized.

For me, sometimes it would not want to take in air. I would have to fill it with a tank while shooting it so that the valve was actually shut and Phil. Sometimes it wouldn't even allow me to fill it when I was doing it. Also, with mine, I had to clean the barrel every eighty shots or so, which tells me that the barrel needed an extensive polishing. I was not putting in the work into a budget backup gun. Accuracy was subpar, when I first got it, I thought accuracy was okay, but later on I got a notos and I realized that the accuracy from the jet was entirely subpar.

I own one and added the extra tube to convert it to a Jet 2. I used it mostly for 20 - 35 yard backyard pesting and it served me well for that purpose. I also own a Notos which is a huge step up, like others have stated. The Jet is LOUD without a moderator so once you add the cost of the mod, you're above the Notos in cost. I've shot and enjoyed the Notos significantly more!

Thank you for your input, these responses are exactly what i need to make an informed decision. I have been looking at the notos as well and the glowing feedbacks on it are making me feel secure about getting one.

Another vote for the notos....ok. I think i know what im getting. That actually is another factor i was concerned about, I live in an apartment complex and any loud popping noises my attract unwanted attention and get me a citation. Thank you for the input!

Backyard plinking? 1701 would do nicely.
It looks nice for a pistol, although it doesnt have the option to attach a stock for a more stable shooting platform and the price is a little over what i would like to spend. I also have seen the diana bandit and chaser pop up alongside that model and am looking into it as well but the notos is leading the vote for now and may actually be the best purchase decision so far.
