I am thinking of designing a open sourcey type chronograph. The hardware and software seem to fairly simple, so I think I can make it work.

Some features I would like to include:

talk over usb (just enumerate as keyboard so data could be entered to an excel sheet or whatever)

store (in non-volatile memory) at least 200 shots (planning to use attiny84 (512 bytes internal eeprom)) (the shots could be organized into shot strings)

change between m/s and ft/s

Does this sound interesting to anyone?

If so any other features you would want included?

has anyone else already done this and I just dont know about it?

thx for your help and feedback
