Thinking about moving away from Foster fittings and Fill Probes

Nitrogen filling up to 4k psi with Shrader valves is common, it's not at all a safety hazard. You just need the rated fittings and they are pricey!

The A-6 Intruder for example, took 3k in the struts for preload and the emergency landing gear blowdown took 4.2k. Both were filled with Shrader valves and whips.
