Thinking about using this for all my stuff seems like an easy way to combine LPA with HPA. Looks like a pretty good approach I think; thoughts?
Yeah I was thinking about this but the Foster males with the built in check valve (just about all on our PCPs) are the same as the plunger setup for the most part in the Schrader. The other thing to consider is the plunger must be moved off its seat to fill the vessel. That is more effort than a chuck could overcome by hand.
Why? Tons of the fittings we see are brass including the big hoss DIN to QC ones like at Best Fittings.I'd want that body to be made of stainless steel...

Well, honestly, you might not be wrong. I may be approaching this the wrong way. I could use Foster fittings or schrader to foster adapters on my car and bike tires! Good idea, thank you!!!This is all a very ridiculous and terrible idea.
Now you got your noodle in the game! LOLWell, honestly, you might not be wrong. I may be approaching this the wrong way. I could use Foster fittings or schrader to foster adapters on my car and bike tires! Good idea, thank you!!!
That's exactly what I was thinking. I can't imagine how much force it will take to keep the air chuck pushed down on that valve or even to open it.Our airguns have "locking" fittings for a reason. You'd be better off staying with the indicated fittings in the interest of safety in my humble opinion. I think you'd be creating a pain in the butt by switching over, but what do I know? It's not like filling a tire @ 45lbs, we're talking a few THOUSAND lbs of pressure!
