In some ways it's a Catch 22. If you're new and you don't use the search people tell you to search. If you search and ask questions on an old thread people berate you for bringing an old thread back from the dead. Heck I've been here 5 years and I still get the usual use the search function from the same people when I ask a question trying to solicit 'current' opinions, not ones that are years old.
