Spam or modeling clay?

I bought the Modeling Clay, but don't have it yet. I think I will have plenty of other things to test out before the clay gets here. I also work 3 long days this week, so whatever I can get started tomorrow and then till the weekend as weather and children will allow for. I can tell you, it is hot as Hades out here already!

Ok guys here goes. I got my 177 hades on Wednesday of this week. Here in Michigan it has been windy since Wednesday of this week. My daystate mk4 loves the jsb 10.34 so I had high hopes for the hades. I am not going to mention any group sizes because all of my group shooting has been done with some decent wind. But they do show high potential and then all the sudden there's a weird flyer is it the wind or is it the pellets? I have had the same situation with the .25 Hades out of my Airwolf. I did take 7 Chipmunks today between 20 and 42 yards and I believe their performance is better than the regular jsb domed pellets there's a lot of damage to the critters there must be some expansion going on. I didn't set up my lab radar today I will try to do that tomorrow. I believe I Shoot the jsb 10.3 s at 912.

With my Airwolf I waited a couple months and bought another tin from a different lot and got much better performance. I must say that the skirts are not all perfect on the tin that I got on Wednesday. Btw my huntsman regal .22 absolutely loves the hades

I spent an ungodly amount of time today working with the Hades and at least 3 or 4 guns. I got good results and bad results. But I can’t pin the issues to the pellets. I think it was a scope problem, not sure. Reason being is that the same pattern was being exhibited by the control pellets, which have always grouped well out of those guns. will see if I can get to the bottom of it tomorrow. Will try to put together what reliable data I have as soon as I can.

The wind died down this morning so I got to shoot some groups and out of my Mark 4 they are every bit of double if not triple the group size at 42 yards of the standard jsb exact heavies. So I'm back to the exact Heavies for now I think I'm going to try sorting some by skirt roundness and maybe even some by weight and give them another try at another date. Maybe even try cleaning my barrel and starting with a totally clean Barrel. I really need them to hit a chipmunks ear at 42 yards and I can't do that with hades consistently. I am totally disappointed I really wanted them to shoot as good as the .22 do

Okay guys today I ran the Hades in front of my labradar out of my daystate Mark 4 .177. They are running it 913 feet per second and an extreme spread of 6 with a ballistic coefficient of .027. By way of comparison the jsb exact heavy Diablos that weigh 10.34 also, run 903 out of my Mark 4.

By the way that was calculated at a distance of 40 yards
