Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I contacted Hatsan and asked to verify if the vortex supremes in 30 cal were making a comeback, and they said they are not. They were just selling off the remains of their old stock the day I received the email notification.
At Gerry- the vortex pellets have always shot well out of my wildcat. Just straight out of the tin, no washing, lube, sorting they shot well. Now that I sort and weigh, they shoot amazing. What I liked about them is during the weighing process at most I had 3 to 4 different weight variations in a tin, but was guaranteed to have enough consistency in which one of the 4 tins I used for sorting had a lot of consistent pellets. The other three were used mainly for initial sight in pellets, or chronograph testing of a gun prior to disassembly.
With the JSB 44.75, I had up to 6 different weight variations, and the different weights were spread out evenly, so in 6 sorting tins I may have 20 in one, 15, in another, 25 in another, etc. So I could never get one tin with enough pellets to do an hours worth of shooting.
