Thermal night vision monocular

I bought a Flir scout to use for spotting rats. It’s definitely a worthwhile tool but like anything else not without its disappointments. I was getting a lot of “false readings” with fresh cow manure and rocks that had been warmed by the sun. I’ve found a lot of times when looking up in trees it gets washed out depending on the air temperature. Optics of any kind are always a compromise. I’d jump at a used one from an established forum member. Nice thing about what I’ve seen of the LTO is I think it’d be fairly easy to mount along side your scope
